Social Case work: It means social
treatment of a maladjusted individual involving an attempt to understand his
personality, behavior and social relationships and to assist him in working but
a better social and personal adjustment.
Social Group work: A method
through which individuals in groups in social agency setting are helped by a
worker who guides their interaction in programme activities so that they may
relate themselves to others and experience growth opportunities in accordance
with their needs and capacities to the end of individual group and community
development.
Community Organization: a process
by which a social worker uses his insight and skill to help communities-
geographical and functional to identify and to work towards a solution of their
problems
Social Welfare administration:
The process of transforming social policy into social services and the use of
experience in evaluating and modifying policy.
Social Action: It might be
described as group effort to solve mass social problems or to further socially
desirable objectives by attempting to influence basic social and economic
conditions or practices.
Social Work research: concerned with the functions of identification and evaluation of social problems and needs, the development and evaluation of service delivery systems and client treatment programmes.
